At 29 November 2018 the official launch of the Youth Mayors Parliament took place! Together with mayor of Maastricht Annemarie Penn-te Strake and deputy of Education of the Province of Limburg Hans Teunissen sixteen youth mayors provided the official opening by cutting a big ribbon.
Both the mayor and the deputy gave a speech, as well as some of the youth mayors did.
